I am from Dallas area. Originally I am from far west Texas. I just wanted to say hi from Texas and introduce myself. I have been lurking around for a while. I thought I would jump into the mix.

I have been in a saddle since 2010 the TrophyLine Tree Saddle. It is nice to meet you all.

Cheers boys. I am ready for turkey season. Haven't drawn any blood yet on a hog but plan to get out a couple more times while post season scouting.

Where would be the best place on the forum to ask about recommendation for or if anyone uses a john boat?
Seems like a lot of sub treads and such. I would most likely ask in the wrong place.
 
Welcome! The general hunting discussion would probably be the best place. Also do a search for "jon boat" using the search function on the site. This is a topic I"m pretty sure has been talked about a bunch. Good luck!
