I set up on a bird this am on a slight down hill incline, and I kept sliding down the cushion. I was wearing pants that were made from a breathable material which exaggerated the situation. I’m sure one or some of you have had this happen, and come up with a solution. I was thinking about putting some lines of kind of fabric glue, seam sealer, rtv, etc. Any other ideas?

1st thing. I wouldn't have set up on a hard down hill incline. Just like, every tree I not a good tree to climb and hunt from. That was not the same right tree to set up on the ground. You could have found some type of bench or flat spot. If you fight gravity, you will never win. Nothing you are going to do to your seat or pants will be better than finding a better set up.

It wasn’t even really a down hill incline. I guess I worded it wrong. It’s more like sitting on the roots of a big old oak tree, and being at a slight downward angle. I’ve set up like this for yrs, and never had a problem. It’s something to do with the fabric. The slightest angle makes you slide.

You answered your own question, go back to your original set up. You caused the problem by changing your clothes or cushion. I can't tell you the amount of times and money I have wasted on the new "better" thing that didn't work as well as the old tried and true.
 
I have found that a quick search for a little log or piece of wood to put under the front of the seat cushion acts like a bolster to keep you from sliding down. Works in a pinch.
 
Or maybe dont sit on a tree like TV. A lot of the birds I have killed were off one knee or standing and probably half of the ones I was sitting for were not backed up on a tree. Them roots are uncomfortable.
 
This is a seat from MTM that I have used for many years.
Weighs next to nothing has different length legs to accommodate terrain features, and slings across the back easily.
It deploys easily and makes those long sits very comfortable with a cushion added on top.
i always have a tree as my back support, and for safety reasons. (don't stalk turkeys, I had a scary incidence once)

I'm not speculating.... My soft platform has an angled standing surface maybe 30 degrees and I use the puff paint for traction..... I'm standing on it and adjusting countless times and it holds up really well
