Is there anyone on this site that makes and sells tethers? I'd like to have one made or buy a really good one from someone the one that comes with the trophyline sucks

The knots are simple to learn. Most guys just buy some climbing rope and a ropeman1 or hitchcord and tie them themselves. The guys on here are always will to help those who want to learn to do it.

In case you're looking for a place to go looking, I've used R&W rope. They have been easy to work with and carry the right stuff. I use Static climbing rope for the tether. I'm new to this forum (plenty of climbing experience) and would imagine most might agree that you would want something like a 1/2 inch static (not dynamic) rope. If not, I have no doubts you might get a few other suggestions as well that may even be better.

They have earth tone colors too like olive, tan, black . . .

HSS sells one for about $20 , comes with a prussic knot and biner. Buy a ropeman 1, and a large pear shape biner for the factory bridge strap and you'd be good to go.

You think they would have this at Bass pro? I have one close to me here in Indiana
