Is Tenzing serious?

I can't say I'm not laughing with the crowd, but the product isn't totally ridiculous.

I don't personally need access into my pack during a hunt, but hear all the time on the forum how others like their stuff organized and available. This is like a tool bucket for those who hunt that way. Folks liked that concept from Sitka.

I think the design is meant for small parcel hunters, who just walk out to their treestands or ground blinds.

As silly as it looks, the only strike against the EVA "cooler" design vs a standard cordura pack is added weight, imo. (And this is still just 1&3/4lbs). Once you fill out a standard pack, it's the same shape as a structured one, but harder to get at stuff both when loaded and once items are removed and it sags. Maybe the structured bag sticks out from a tree a bit more unnaturally, but that's a somewhat silly argument imo.

Fill it with some heavy weight and go for a hike. Let us know how it handles…..

I bet it can manage 2 tethers, ROS, a release, and grunt tube. Possibly even a Little Debbie.

The only lumbar pack I'd be willing to haul heavy weight with is the Blacks Creek Cure, and even then the frame doesn't offer true load lift so you're gonna suffer.

It's currently my favorite pack, I bought it when I was primarily hunting with the summit open shot and works great for that because I can wear the open shot right over it. The worse feature is the zipper which I never use, it's cheap and loud. If they used magnets or a zipper like sitka uses on it's fanny pack it would be outstanding. The semi rigid bucket is great for accessing stuff in the stand. It also has straps on the bottom for sticks and i've just stuck my platform in the main compartment before. Very versitile pack.
