You are supposed to sit with the two pieces on top of the lower seat. I don’t know how it could squeak, mine never has

I'm not sure I know what you are pointing at? But, the bridge connects to the two loops you can see pretty clearly in the pics above above. The stock bridge is designed offset so you girth hitch it on one loop and use a carabiner on the other. I swapped out stock for two small runners which I use that frees up some space, but also prevents you from canting (you'll see those orange runners in the pics). I like this because I use a xbow and don't really want or need to cant. But, if you use vertical you might want the flexibility (or xbow you might want it too). I would stick with the stock bridge for a while and see how you like it before you start changing things up....How are you guys looping your bridge for your tether on each side? I'm using a carabiner on one side and it isn't even. Also, what is the loop im pointing at for? Can you connect your bridge there?

Google Eastern Woods Outdoors. Can anyone point me in the direction of pouches like the ones in the original post? I'm not really equipped to make my own.
Also, how did you rig the loops on the side for carrying your sticks up?

No. I dont think it's easy to put layers on in the tree. It can be done (top half only)....and I do it....but not easily imho. I'll put on all layers except maybe one at base of tree. If this is a big deal to you a minimalist saddle may be a better choice. Is it easy to put layers on while 20ft in the Jx3? I usually take off short I work in, then put on heated vest, then merino wool top, fleece top, parka and then bibs over pants. Is this possible in JX3 while only using top of a climbing stick?

Its probably easier if you stick with the stock bridge. I've shortened mine. With stock you'll have more room. Play around....might be easier to put on while you're standing on your stick and have LB on....before you attach tether and bridge and sit down. I have alot of presets so I dont sweat too much while climbing....maybe others can chime inThanks for info. 3rd season with “minimalist” saddle and they are killing me. I cant imagine one sticking in my full cold weather kit. I would prob soak my clothes with sweat. Im gonna give the hybrid a shot once I get it friday. I have until March for open archery season so if I cant make it work with all my gear/clothes, gonna have to scrap the 360 degree life.

This is one of my considerations for what kinda saddle to buy. What I’m not sure of is am I gonna be able to draw my bow comfortably while sitting. When in my hang on or climber I always stand. This is my only trepidation with buying one cuz as I see it it’s the perfect option for gun hunting!!!
