10 pointer down from the kestrel. First week of VA muzzleloader season. Hunted a farm that gets a little pressure, especially during gun season with dogs. Set up on edge of swamp 30 ft up an oak with my XOP hand climber seat. Was disappointed once I got to hunting height because I could only see clearly 30 yards or so. Rattled at 4:40 blind, had two does come behind me, could barely see them in the thick swamp. They got a little nervous, and headed back where they came from, heard a stick crack and the buck was headed right towards me. At 5:05 He came into my only shooting lane, dropped him at 13 yards. From the time I saw him to my shot was maybe 5 seconds.
