Do they make them? My daughter (10 yrs old) has gone out with me on our double stand a couple of times to watch deer and before the season, she was my safety backup (holding phone ready to call 911 if daddy fell) when I was practicing one-sticking. Now she wants one of her own since she saw how cool it was. Has anyone let their kid try out saddle hunting and if so, what was your set up like and how old did you start? I want her to gain confidence and trust in the equipment right off the bat. Thank you!

The Aerohunter Revolution is sized down to a pants size 20" waist. New Tribe also makes kids recreational harnesses that
are way more economical.

Custom makers, Like @JCLINE84 have been known to do kids saddles I believe.

There are a couple kids saddles out there. I believe Overwatch outdoors can make one and recently there was another brand I saw, but I can’t recall the name. I personally don’t like one sticking and wouldn’t let my child do it if I had one… but, at some point I would allow them to use another method to go up a tree while using a saddle. I am by no means telling you what to do either, that is your choice! Goodluck this season and enjoy time with your kid!

I bought an aero hunter shrike in a kids size for my daughter when they came out with it last year.

My 7 year old is smaller and can use the phantom with no issues.
Edit: I started a thread a while back with a picture of my son hanging upside down in the phantom.

CGM downsized a few smalls for our girls. They haven’t showed interest in hunting but they love to hang out!

I bought a Notch size 1 that fits my 11 year old. My 7 year old really wants to get up in a tree too. I'm going to get her a climbing harness and make a fleece saddle for her for comfort.

My son tags along with me in his saddle. I don’t let him hunt his own tree just yet but he climbs up on his own, and sets his own platform and gear strap.
