I'm going to ask a question that may have been asked not so long ago on the thread so I'm sorry if this is just a repeat question. It is an extremely long form. I put my name on the "I want a pair" list so who will I be paying once they come in, who will let us know that they are available, and when will they be available?

Again sorry if this is just another repeat of the same questions. I am just trying to get as prepared as I can be for the quickly upcoming season as we all know it will be here before we know it even though it seems like it is forever away. Thanks guys and gals.

I don't think we're paying anybody. @g2outdoors and @Erniepower made so much money selling us Saddles and platforms they are going to buy everybody a free pair. I'm pretty sure I heard that somewhere. Maybe I just dreamed it.

To be honest I think they've given plenty of stuff away already. I think the only thing they haven't given away yet is a Kegerator for @bigjoe. On a serious note @g2outdoors is putting this thing together so I'm assuming we'll be sending him the money and he will be dealing with the company, but that is just an assumption.

I believe @bongo is a fly fisherman first and a bowhunter second. But all in all I'm not sending you my money Bongo if you're going to spend it on a sandy hell hole. Now if you would have said on the side of a mountain tucked off in the jungle on a Pacific Island, I may have still sent it to you.

Fellers - I reached out to the owner of Kiwi Klimbers again and asked about timeline since they are going much slower than originally anticipated. Here's the response I received.

"Hi Greg, I have all my quotes back and I'm running some figures for the big run now. If I did you a special run they would be $600 USD each pair (your cost). Give me a week and I'll get back to you with when I predict I'll have some product around the $400 US mark."

No real news yet, guys. Sorry. Based on how the pre-sale has gone, I wouldn't expect to see these before OCT/NOV. That's just my gut feeling. Maybe things will move much faster for KK now that they have their numbers figured out. However, their Kickstarter isn't live yet. Those campaigns usually run for 30 days, then generally take another 30-60 days to start rolling orders out.

Its definitely worth considering if you are looking at the Geckos. The Geckos have an MSRP of $600 and you'll likely get them cheaper with a coupon plus have free shipping. The Kiwis are $500 with more shipping. You can also consider buying the Gecko spurs and upgrading the gaffs to the titanium KK version for an extra $140 + S/H (the spurs are compatible between brands) and end up with something very similar. There is no wait on buy the replacement gaffs from KK.
