Check out Knaider/Swaider option, just got one and went up over 20' with four steps, game changer! I've got a 10 pack of Stepps and am seriously considering retiring probably four of them. Watch Greg Staggs video called "Using a knaider/swaider & setting a perch" through the Wild Edge channel on YouTube, very helpful. Takes minimalism to a whole new level!

Sometimes I transfer it to my saddle and sometimes I leave it on the pack, it typically depends on which pack I’m running. I daisy chain my ropes and the fold up inside the standoffs. Most of the time the stay, but if not I’ll tie an over hand to the top step in the holster to hold the daisy chain in place.

This is a must have. Are there any available, and can I get one with both clip attachment options? I think I'd like to use the single to connect on my pack, and the double when I transfer it to my saddle.
