Any tricks on how to make linemen belt more user friendly. When it cinches down can a ropeman be utilized like replacing presic knot on tether?

There is only one ropeman1 that I’m aware of. Got one on my tether and one on my linemans rope. Be sure your linemans rope is the correct diameter for the ropeman 1. I think it needs to be 10 - 13 mm rope to work properly.

Ropeman on lineman belt necessity. Ropeman on tether not as much as on linesman.

Thats because you're using a prusik knot and theyre horrible for anything except a fall. So many friction knots out there that are better.

Do you have any recommendations for a better friction knot? I've looked into a bunch of different ones (Blake's, Klemheist, Bachmann) but I can't find a definitive answer and haven't had the time to test them.

My 2 favorites are distel and schwabish with 8-10mm 28" eye to eye bee line hitch cord on 11mm tachyon rope.

No. Amazon, backcountry.com or somewhere else online.
Just got one last week from Amazon, $33 for an orange. Watch it for a couple days, the price seems to bounce around a bit. Amazon and backcountry have been below $35. There is a blue one, that seems to always be couple bucks more. I have a ropeman, but still waiting on a Kestrel.
