Long Distance Archery or TAC Practice

Not quite!
I was paper tuning when I lost 1 and the other one I was dumb enough to keep trying to figure $h!t out at 30 yards...

It'll stabilize arrows with fletching but I can tell they're kicking...
I know as of now broadheads are definitely a no-go !
What kind of tears are you getting @phatkaw? I can’t imagine trying to get four cams to time perfectly but I’ve never worked on their system.

I'll get some fresh shots on paper for you...

Well, I got sidetracked yesterday 'cause I wanted to shoot my V3X. I got new soft nocks tied on and cables twisted.
Also got my new rangefinder in the mail and wanted to check it out... It's JUNK! (Astra Optics)

Don't have time to get pictures today either. I have a league shoot tonight...

I have a Mavin RF-1, red readout, seems very accurate. I like it a lot so far.

Had a little time after work today. 64 pin is right on at 60. Kinda winged it this time on the tape and it didn’t pan out. Should’ve taken my time on it. Shot a group after, rushed the last couple but bow is feeling good.

Did you add weight to your regular nocks? ^^^

At 30 yards I can just barely notice the lighted nocks are a touch low and of course, the further back I go the lower my lighted nocks hit.

I don’t have anything on them. They’re usually just close enough and I think at longer distances I subconsciously aim a touch low.

HA! I hit it tonight. I was all nervous about putting holes in the new cover and pulled one at 100.
I hit the 2" steel bar under the elevated bags at our outdoor range last year 2 shots in a row from 50 yards with the longbow. 2 horrible shots but I was pretty stoked with the consistency lol. Wasnt good for the wood arrows though.

My version of long range lol. 81 shots from 25 yard. Need to tighten up a few shots but I really only had 5 bad shots where I did not execute worth a flip. Thought about going to 100 but the heat index was 109 and I was pretty well spent. 2nd ring out from center is a paper plate. Overall fairly happy but still got plenty of clean up to do.

Wow 25 yards with trad gear…. that looks awesome to me!!!

@Camelcluch is that a homemade target you rebuilt made to the specs for that morrell target facing or where did you get that?

Also, are you guys all shooting your hunting setups at these distances? I’m using my light arrow TAC/3d setup planning to transition to hunting mode soon though!!

I was out of town and also had camera drama so I haven’t been shooting the last couple of weeks too much. Have a JAKES Day obligation tomorrow then I’m going to get back at it!!
