I have always used the AAE Max glue however the important part of the process is the primer pen which helps the cyanoacrylate bond to the vane material. I have used the Max Stealths for the last few years and if you use the primer pen they stick very well. It is like having to use the purple primer on a pvc joint, just different materials.

I use Bobs for glue. It’s much cheaper and has been perfect. The prep is most important. Don’t skip or skimp. Follow the process.

Yes with AAE and TAC. The pen works but drives me nuts when it leaks all over. I actually use an old pen and dip it into acetone. Less is better with the pen or acetone. You can actually burn the material with too much. But follow the steps completely. Clean, prep glue.

The X-Wings (60X120 4 fletch) gained me 5+ yards clearance under my sight. In the past I could only get to 95 yds before the site housing would interfere with the fletching. Today I was able to get to 100 and no interference. I believe I could get at least another 5 yds out of it before the vanes would hit the housing. I had been shooting a bunch before this round getting my sight right and you can see from my grouping I was getting tired. Next time I will see if I can get to 110 without interfering. The x-wing 4 fletch Max 2.0 sheilds hit right with the 3 fletch max stealth's and are 6 gn lighter even though I added a wrap.

TAC is fun and should be taken as fun. Shoot what you’re comfortable with distance and equipment.
I haven’t done much long range but hopefully the weather gets better before my bear hunt so I can stretch out a bit.

Shot a few at 102. It’s been a while and I struggled to shoot a decent group. A little self assessment and I was not pulling all the way through. Was able to finish with three good shots. Also noticed my windage was a little off and my 60 fixed pin was a tad low. Sorry, no pictures. Just a good day figuring stuff out.
