This is such a disappointment. I can`t use the Mantis I ordered in July because it wasn`t delivered as promised over and over. I really wanted one . I spent the off season practicing and prepping tree, building platforms and checking my email . This last update killed me . I tried to contact Tethered and did not even get a call or personal email . I though they would at least be apologizing or offering an alternative. Something . I got nothing. I paid up front . They used my money to finance the build and I got nothing. They led me on dangled a carrot with no clear plan to fill my order. What a total crock . Kestral will be here Saturday.
 
Just got my shipping notice. Order 3933 large mantis ordered 6/17... super stoked.

I believe theres alot of us that debated on canceling our mantis order at one point or another. Mines finally on the way and plenty of season left so I'm finally relieved. But its soo close for the rest of the larges to be shipped. Canceling now seems like shooting a 120" buck while theres a 150" working his way in.

I didn’t find out about saddle hunting until July sometime. Found a thread on archery talk. That lead me to watching g2outdoors videos on saddle hunting which took me about 2 weeks and I was a go. Ordered a mantis.

I ordered a Kite on September 4. Called Aero on Monday October 1 and spoke with Debbie who told me that my Kite was on schedule to be shipped October 19 as originally promised. Did you get a reason for delivery going from 6 weeks to 3 months?

I just ordered my kite last week and was told Nov 2nd. They have it posted on their website and I believe it was also Debbie who told me on the phone that they had to evacuate for a few days due to wildfires, and that put them behind. I certainly hope it's not 6 weeks to 3 months! That'll hurt a bit.
 
I have a feeling that, for a lot of folks, this was the first time preordering a product under development from a new business. Consider it a learning experience. If it was unbearably frustrating, and made you miserable, you should probably take that into account in the event you want to make a similar purchase in the future. Preordering, especially from a business in it's infancy, is not for everyone. There are innumerable variables that can affect the process, and noone can perfectly predict the future.

Saddles are shipping now. If you PREORDERED, yours will arrive soon, if it hasn't already. If you order TODAY... it will arrive soon, because they're catching up very quickly. The time from the first Mantis deliveries to the delivery of a Mantis ordered today is only a month and a half, or less. Not much difference there, huh?

So... if the stress and disappointment was too much, consider purchasing after a product is actually shipping from inventory. You can skip the headache, and receive your order only a little later.

Just a thought.
 
I did not order until after the fire delay and delivery was 6 weeks. I have spoken with Debbie on 3 different occasions now and no matter what I changed in my order she said my delivery was not affected and would still be on the original 6 week delivery. In my dealings with Debbie and Aero Hunter I have not been disappointed and I have no reason to believe there will be any changes in my satisfaction with this transaction.

Hey bud, I just received a Mantis(L) today. It’s an awesome saddle for sure. I know you orderd a Kestrel and it’s suppose to get to you on Saturday, but if that falls through and you need mine I’ll send it to you for the full price and I can order another one. I don’t mind my sit drag for a few more weeks. If I can help let me know. God bless.

Got my first kill from the Mantis tonight. Coyote.
Pics to follow. I didn't collect it tonight. I was covered up in deer just before and after dark. Took forever to get out of there and I didn't want to stink up the area. Rain tomorrow. I'll go in then.

Has anyone received a separate shipment of sys hauler es or microfit adjusters? All the ones reported have been shipped with later orders of predators/mantis but the last udpate states they will ship according to order date. I was around 5 or 6 in the order process but havnt heard anything yet. Maybe they are waiting to ship all the small stuff together when all the other items are in.....

Yo tapeworm I received your mantis along with mine on October 4. Tethrd is sending me postage to send it back to them I would be willing to pay the shipping myself in order to send it directly to you. I have sent an email to Val regarding this matter if I don’t hear back today I will mail it personally. My micro fit adjusters did not ship however, not really sure why.
 
I can only imagine that all the accessories will be shipped together. I’m still waiting on the sys, recliner, and microfit adjusters. There’s probably a lot of sorting out the partial shipments also. Whatever the freebies chosen were not shown on a separate line on the order so someone will have to go back and manually check every preorder for them also. I’m just glad it’s not my headache and will patiently wait for my accessories.

Darn it I thought the sys es was mine but I ordered the sys I suppose that is why mine micro fits didn’t ship cause the sys haulers aren’t in yet. Bummer I would gladly pay the difference in pouches to receive the rest of my order.
