So my youngest daughter was able to join me in a tree today with her ASAT and crossbow. Her first non groundblind bow hunt. Hoping for the best!

We had a great hunt! Several squirrels a coon and finally a nice buck. Unfortunately he didn't offer a shot. It was her first hunt from a tree (no blind) and she's hooked!

Awesome, always cool introducing your kids to new things hunting until they start wanting their own toys. I have three boys 15, 12 and 9 and even though my bank account is not what it was, the memories and time spent are amazing and well worth it.

Agreed Gr33, I consider myself fairly reserved in buying gear. But when it comes to my kids showing interest in my passions....well I'm less reserved lol.

As a matter of fact she's inquired several times on the possibility of her own saddle
