Huge thanks to Huntingbob at Bryer Precision and also to G2 on pointing out where I could find this work of art-of a seat post... I ended up using a LW seat off from an Alpha Hang-on ll and ultimately decided on using two Versa Buttons after becoming frustrated on not being able to get the seat to cam over. I’m personally happy that this worked out as it’s familiar and it just plainly works-It’s very solid and quite honestly I do think you could get away with just the top Versa Button.

I’m sorry I didn’t weigh them against a LW blank. I couldn’t spare any to weigh. I do believe it was posted somewhere that the Bryer Post came in at 11oz...
 
Just completed my platform also. Testing it out tomorrow.
