Going off what 2sloe said above.
I started running two bridges over the summer while practicing going around limbs climbing 2TC
I really like having a second bridge now and I put one on all of my saddles.
I don’t use the second one very often but it sure makes things nice when I wanna clip into it for whatever reason...

Both adjustable? Seems like a lot of rope floooing around if so.

The short bridge I added is not adjustable and it’s less than 2’ long. I only use it to climb on. Lot’s will say that it’s too inconvenient to step in and out of the saddle with a permanent short bridge, but I spent over 20 years stepping in and out of a two leg hole harness so stepping in and out of a saddle, even with a short bridge, is easy for me. At this point it’s just a test setup to see how I like it. I may add a biner to it later, but I doubt it. No need in adding metal that I don’t really need.

I run two adjustable bridges on my phantom. The one is an amsteel stock one with the prussik, the other one I built out of 8mm sterling per JRB's video. I like his bridge better than the amsteel one, that prussik takes a lot to loosen back up.
The extra rope on the adjustable bridge is a non issue for me.

The only one that has both bridges adjustable is my Method. The factory bridge on that saddle is very hard to adjust and I built a new bridge ABOVE that one and it is my primary bridge now.

The only saddle I have over here at the house is my TX5. The others are across the road in the corn crib where I keep most of my hunting clothes. I'll get some pictures of those tomorrow maybe?

I've got long, double adjustable bridges on my XOP. Didn't spend much time in it this year, but an overhand knot below the friction hitch both manages the excess, and serves as a safety against slippage.
