I’m planning on spending a little time on the Tensas NWR with denots this season. I started hunting on private and public land inside the refuge in 87’. I now hunt mainly about 15 miles north of the NWR. Anyway if you are interested in learning a little about that area just ask.
 
Waddill took a hit from the flood, but the trad range is still going strong. Not too sure about the compound range. Haven't taken the longbow on it in a while. I may go one morning this week and will probably be out there early Saturday morning if anyone wants to meet up.

No home in this subdivision got water in ‘16. I would guess the water was a little better than a foot in elevation away from my garage floor and closer to 18” elevation from coming in my front door. Did you flood in ‘16?

I was fortunate, I was 1 of the 5 houses in the subdivision that didn’t flood. It came into my garage but not on top the slab.

If you ever want to shoot the bow one after noon I got a target in the back yard. We can get out to ~50 yards. I know I’d like to pick your brain about a few areas in Tensas. I been hunting the refuge for a while but not nearly as long as you it seems. We could even get @denots to join us perhaps?

I shot briefly with denots this afternoon. Weekends are mostly booked with hunting season preparation but we could definitely shoot the bows in the evening during the week , talk about Tensas and all things saddle related
