The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Choose SH Member and purchase.

He says in the video its "kid sized" Looks like XOP missed the mark on this one. The price is too high and missed major details that are comon on every other frame pack.
He did a review of the TX5 suspension and gave it a good review.

I think he has a bit of an inexperienced bent when it comes to saddle and pack/suspension reviews.
I’m not saying that makes the reviews necessarily bad, just something to keep in mind.

How are knee pads not needed? Does it have a fork or something similar to keep it off the tree?
Nope. Saddle is built on a foundation lacking understanding of gravity and geometry.

They basically made a bosom’s chair and apparently think we all climb and hang off of branches and not the actual tree… John’s design is far superior in my mind.
When you get to hunting height, just spin around and hang with your back to the tree. No need for kneepads that way, or a weapon.
The Novix Raider seem like a great bargain right now with its intro price of 220.

It's only a deal if you're getting exactly what you want.
I really don't like their execution of the mesh seat. It should be drawn taught, flush with the top of the seat frame.

To be fair, the Raider is 30.5 x 19.5. LW Assault is 26 x 19.5.
However, once the platform is that big, I'm not really thinking of it as a "mobile" option. Not that it couldn't be, but it's bulky for most places I hunt, no matter the weight.
Though I'm with you on lighter stands. LWCG .5 stand and sticks is a couple pounds heavier than just the Raider.

How are they “telescopic”? Don’t they just pack sliding the tubes together inside one another. Then when you get to your spot you gotta take then apart and assemble them? Am I missing something? Looks like a fiddly fail to me….
Telescoping stick? What do they call it? The “Erection”?
Been ignoring the Exo k4 because I was scared I’d want one. Watched a video from them doing a pack dump and the guys simple no gimmick style sucked me in(no bs) Watched a video of the k4 system and Dang it that thing looks sweet. I’m in for a long night of fighting. Oh and video watching
