New Gear release 2021

I have never been given anything from any saddle company. I’ve bought every saddle and platform I’ve ever reviewed, unlike many others. I do not have a seeker but I have spoken with Chad about the delay. He’s also publicly shared this information on the Bowhunter Chronicles podcast.

Keep doing your thing about reviews.

Not everyone lives on the internet and has time to go find all of this information releases, can you share what you know that has already been made public elsewhere please?

Does anyone know how catalyst was able to use a cam cleat on their ion stick? I was under the impression muddy had a patent covering cam cleats on climbing sticks.

They are redesigning and recasting a particular part to beef it up. So you aren’t happy when a company sends out a product that fails but you are suspicious of a company that takes its time to get it right?

Well hell, tethrd already took the time on behalf of cruzr, who stole the design outright.

Probably a good idea. I’m only guessing of course, but I imagine cam pressure + whatever extra vector that angled front creates could be managed well if fattened up in some spots, over similar designs.

I don’t personally know the specifics, but they are also on the Ultimate One Stick.

Word on the street is Cruzr received a naughty gram about patent infringement.
Wow....that other thread shut down quick...
I don't own any saddle company or anything like that but if I was tethrd I would do the same thing ...main target is hawk but probably gotta send out to all of them as a formality....I get why peeps mad a tethrd but a huge international company did steal thier design

yep just with thin tubes! Honestly I’m thinking of welding up a treesuit legs/predator style platforms out of a ladder stand that a tree has mostly smashed...hopefully the big brother doesn’t come after me!

Because its not a stick its a platform. maybe?

What does the muddy patent say exactly?

That might be a question for @DanO he has been selling the ultimate stick for a bit with the cam cleat. I am not a patent attorney.

I guess we can attribute high cost of saddle gear to lawyer fees. Used to think it was insurance.

I haven’t read the patent. They were advertised as having a patent pending rope cam attachment system. I certainly could be misinformed.

Just moved is all. Vendor interaction is allowed in the vendor section.

I wonder if while Tethrd was writing their legal cease and desist to Cruzr about particular lines in chunks of metal if Arcteryx was asking Tethrd for their knee pads back or if the lines they added make it okay? Hahaha.

Side bar: As far as knee pads go I wear Crye precision combat pants which have an integrated knee pad in them if you want them in or not. Amazon sells some much cheaper brands that people wear and like also. Just so everyone here knows that’s an option.
