New Gear Release 2022!

How did you manage that one? Get any wiggle in the steps?

Didn’t you get the notification they were in stock?
Just kidding…
Tethrd donated a 3 pack to “The Outdoor Adventure Foundation Minnesota” for a fundraiser auction and I won the auction this past Saturday.
I haven’t put them on an tree yet, but they seem solid.

Did anyone on here bid on the Phantom Fusion saddle kit they sold?

They look good. They weigh more than the gen1?

What are the updates?
- new stacking pins
- ability to roll up amsteel
- revised stand-off attachment to post
- end cap
- are the standoffs any bigger? Guessing not..

what am I missing?

Chamfered standoffs…. Those end caps I think are press fit in the tube. No roll pin it’s a bolt in the bottom step. Revised dynalock tab.

Standoff is the same, also where the standoff is chamfered thhave it sanded down so there is no paint as yo can see in the pics so there is no squeaky noise on tree bark.
They also removed the shrink tube from the end of the amsteel so it doesn’t make noise if it hits the tube unlike the Gen1 which always hit the stick when throwing around the tree and made noise. The top standoff had a grade 8 roll pin and the bottom had a bolt and both have the end caps that are press fitted so it doesn’t need any glue.

So they're rolling with the roll pin. Does the end cap hold the roll pin in place?

How is the rope cleat held on?

Nice job supporting the foundation, btw.

This ^^^ why would they keep one a roll pin?

probably because it’s not an issue on the top stop. Your weight will be pushing it into the tube.. The bottom your weight is pulling it away from the tube.

You have any pics of them strapped to a treestand for packing in?

I thought the issue was rocking back and forth (i.e. weight on the left side and then weight on right side making it rock). I haven't owned any or used any so maybe I had the wrong problem in my head.
