Didn’t you get the notification they were in stock?
Just kidding…Didn’t you get the notification they were in stock?
Just kidding…
Tethrd donated a 3 pack to “The Outdoor Adventure Foundation Minnesota” for a fundraiser auction and I won the auction this past Saturday.
I haven’t put them on an tree yet, but they seem solid.
I don’t think, but I’ll throw them on a scale tomorrow…They look good. They weigh more than the gen1?
Ernie told me late March to early April he said they are setting in the ports.Wonder when they will open up orders? They will be gone quick guarantee!
What are the updates?
What are the updates?
- new stacking pins
- ability to roll up amsteel
- revised stand-off attachment to post
- end cap
- are the standoffs any bigger? Guessing not..
what am I missing?
Standoff is the same, also where the standoff is chamfered thhave it sanded down so there is no paint as yo can see in the pics so there is no squeaky noise on tree bark. What are the updates?

They also removed the shrink tube from the end of the amsteel so it doesn’t make noise if it hits the tube unlike the Gen1 which always hit the stick when throwing around the tree and made noise. The top standoff had a grade 8 roll pin and the bottom had a bolt and both have the end caps that are press fitted so it doesn’t need any glue.

This ^^^ why would they keep one a roll pin?So they're rolling with the roll pin. Does the end cap hold the roll pin in place?
How is the rope cleat held on?

Still using a rivet on the rope cleat. So they're rolling with the roll pin. Does the end cap hold the roll pin in place?

I thought the issue was rocking back and forth (i.e. weight on the left side and then weight on right side making it rock). I haven't owned any or used any so maybe I had the wrong problem in my head.probably because it’s not an issue on the top stop. Your weight will be pushing it into the tube.. The bottom your weight is pulling it away from the tube.
