Hi! My name is Larry, as the title says I’m from southeast Texas. I hunt some private land but mostly public. All my gear is on order. This is a brand new venture for me. I have been contemplating for a couple of years on wether I would step into saddle hunting or not. I ended up ordering the kestrel flex kit, 8 wild edge steps, and the ridge runner platform. Hopefully I will have everything before the end of August so I can get some practice in. Thanks for having me!

I’m in the same boat but different gear. My Tetherd kit should be arriving this month. Looking forward to this new adventure.

Welcome, Larry. I think you may be the second or third saddle hunter in SETX. Are you hunting SHNF? I'm hunting in Warren. Did a little saddle hunting last year but plan to hunt mainly from the saddle this year.
