So after my brother @lsr1456 and @Ontariofarmer talked me into getting an Excalibur Cross, I finally broke down this past Thursday. (@g2outdoors has no liability here) I was in a sporting goods store, minding my own business when the Pro at the desk said hey that Micro 335 is on sale for $600.00. Well, I had to buy it and give it a good home. That gives me all the bows. Hoyt Trad, Mathews Helium and the Excalibur Micro 335.

I was looking at one yesterday just couldn't pull the trigger tho.. may be xmas... good luck with it !!

I had been looking at them for about 3 years. My oldest son has a Parker. Which I bought him 3 years ago.

My 12 year old is getting into hunting and is not strong enough Yet to pull back a bow of ethical poundage. So as this was on sale, it became a no brainer.

The 335 from what I read on line, are being phased out for the the 355

Im in the same boat with my boy also ...

Some of the excaliburs have a new silent internal crank for the young or disabled... But they are pricey. The excalibur is a simple bow, easy to fix and has a good warranty. My friend had a limb break on a 10 year old bow. They replaced it for the cost of shipping. Just teach the young ones where not to put your fingers... or the bow can remove them.

I really like that you can uncock an Excalibur without have to fire an arrow

My dad has been crossbow hunting since they made it legal here, maybe 10 years ago now? He uses an excalibur and eventually I picked one up to keep for backup in case I ever have bow or shoulder problems. He's shot a bunch of deer out of the saddle with his now and has a great system. I've hunted with mine twice. It's not really for me, I feel very out of sorts up there with it, but IMO the excalibur crossbows are the only way to go.

Wish I had known they were replacing that mode and going on sale. I just spent that on a Parker and would have rather had the micro, plus I hunt with a recurve already so it’s simple to fix if anything were to go wrong. Nice score

I purchased a matrix 350 with a trigger tech trigger on archerytalk last year an it is a shooter. I have had several shoulder surgeries an thought I should get one just in case I have issues. Finally took it out Saturday afternoon an took a doe with it.
I can tell you cocking it in a saddle is not a easy task lol.
