Folks on the MA bowsite forum are discussing a get together in March so folks can try out different saddle setups and climbing methods....since there is a bunch of interest. If you're not on bowsite I suggest you sign up cause at least in the MA forum you can be kept abreast of local goings on.

I'm relatively new to saddle hunting myself, but can't say enough about the kestrel. It's a really good and safe setup. You could also go the DIY entry method and modify a sitdrag. (That's how I started)

If you can wait til March, I'm sure there will be a kestrel, sitdrag, guidos, and maybe a trophyline there.

For a saddle:

If you can swing it; go for the new Kestral. It's safe, comes in a complete kit or just the saddle, a couple color options and is up to date. There's plenty to absorb as far as info goes here and many will chime in....Welcome to the site ....
