Why would we continue to talk about a team that got booted in the 1st round? The thread is about the playoffs. At this point, there are only 2 teams to discuss.
Maybe the Leafs won't choke NEXT year.

Some awesome hockey here in the finals. I don't have a dog in this fight, just enjoying the games. Great skilled, physical hockey. The way the game was meant to be played.

Bruins got totally outworked last night.
If they don't get their crap together this will be a 4-1 series.
These playoff series ate all about how teams match up. I'm not sure the Bruins can handle the physical punishment the Blues can dish out.
But I didn't think they could handle the Leaf's speed, but they seem to find a way to win. Not sure they can do it again this time.

I think BERGERON is playing hurt. Attrition and pain and depth often determine the winners.

That line hasn't shown up yet.
Marchand had a bad game last night and Pasternak hasn't done anything during the entire playoffs.
If the rest of the team was playing like that line, they would have been swept in round 1. Rask needs a raise.

I have a bigger issue with trading Rask for Raycroft

I doubt the present management would be so dumb

Yeah. The leafs had a good stretch of putting on a clinic on how not to evaluate players. Keeping Sparks over Mcilheney was a bad move too. Dont what that analytics software said. One got wins in the big show the was a no show.....

That's my rant.
