This one happened really fast Saturday morning with a stiff south wind. Was sitting in a multi trunk tree so had to decide where I would hang my bow to avoid having to raise it to bypass a trunk. Turns out I guessed right because this guy popped out at first light at 17 yards in a perfect spot for me to grab my bow, raise, draw, stop him, and release a true shot all within about 5 seconds. Didn't go far and had him dressed, loaded in the truck, and heading home before 9 am.
Rarely do things come together so nicely when bowhunting, but for this one morning I had no complaints.
