Odd sounds in the woods

No expert here but I've had a few beers around in the yard here at the house. Oh!!! I ment bears. Anyways what I wanted to say was, when they get a little fussy they normally just start popping their teeth together. Then sometimes I've had'em bluff charge me if cubs were present, when they did this they usually blow and slap the ground with their front paws. The blowing sound was a short burst of air kinda like a deer but not as loud. Not sure if this helped but beware... I have heard of a "Sirscwatch" runnin round

So I hunt in the Uwharrie National Forest a lot. This place is known for bigfoot sightings and the area actually thrives a little bit on it. Kind of hard to believe in but I can say that Ive been in my saddle way before dawn before waiting on the sun to come up and Ive heard some loud reverberating whooping sounds and knocking on trees in sets of 3-4 that are pretty consistent that left me sitting there racking my brain as to what creature in a forest makes loud whooping/screaming sounds and what kind of a psychopath would be out in the dark woods at 0430 knocking on trees in 25 degree weather lol

I've heard some really strange sounds in the woods myself. I've noticed that the noise levels and the sounds vary depending on what I've recently eaten....
