PA Show This week Latitude sticks

So…. In other words. They don’t have much foot room. I am not seeing the advantage to these over the Tethrd sticks. I just convinced myself to cancel my order.

I saw them today. Literally first thing I thought was "these are not better than my Skeletors". Super light, but I can't help think they are going to break. I also thought if they got wet they'd be real slippery without some sort of grip tape. Personally, not something I'd spend the money on.

Also, as an aside I couldn't real get too much help. The entire booth full of employees already had a 5 gallon bucket full of empty Yuengling cans and they were even trying to hide it. I get its been a long show, but 2 o'clock seemed a bit early.

Tattletale lol.

I stopped by the booth. I had to search for them as they weren’t in Archery hall, I was not overly impressed with the stick. But even less impressed with the team they had there. I was the only guy there and all of them looked at each other to see who would answer my questions. I was asking about the sticks but no one grabbed a platform to show me or ask if I even saddle hunt etc.
when I asked about where they recommend grabbing the stick to help pull yourself up or lower yourself, I was told that I don’t know how to climb sticks. That I need to learn how to use the lineman rope correctly. I wished them the best and went on my way.

I do not see anything that was special. Light but not the lightest. My biggest issue was the lack of hand grab since the standoff is built into the step. I did not stand on them. They did not ask me if I wanted to stand on one, they had one one a post. Like I said they were really not doing a good job showcasing any of their products. No idea why but if I did not look at them and ask a question, no one would have talked to me.

I was there at their booth and checked out their new steps they did not impress me .Neither did the crew that was working the latitude booth. I was the only one at the booth at the time and no one even asked me if I need any help. That was the first Sunday of the show and I wonder if it got any better the rest of the week at the Latitude booth ? Very disappointed .

So cancel my pre order and just get some Gen three One sticks?

I had the same experience at the booth. I stopped and was looking at the stick attached to the tree trunk and not 1 guy said anything. Was there about 1 minute and then kept walking. Fwiw I could fit 3 fingers in the gap of the standoff, probably only 2 with gloves.

I was there on Thursday morning and the main guy that is in all their videos(forgot his name, I am terrible with names)saw me messing with the stick. He came over and started talking to me...seemed like a OK guy to me....I told him I pre-ordered the sticks and he thanked me for the business.

Yeah same here they were very friendly to me when I was at the booth, we talked hunting for probably 20 minutes after taking about gear for 15 min.

I could get 2 fingers also but I like to grab the step.

I was there on second Friday. First time saddle hunting. I bought my cruzer seeker platform. Bought my Tethrd Skelators. Tried the XC saddle and wanted to try the method 2. The owner helped me answered all my questions and bought the Method 2 along with a 8mm tether vapor line and a dump pouch. I was happy with the service and the attention. I even told him I got other sticks and platform and he was super cool and super helpful. So now my climbs begin.

So that show was pretty cool. Nice to see the new stuff.
The latitude sticks would be a no go for me bc I’m so close to the weight rating, but also bc they lack a clean hand hold for climbing up & down.
Tethrd- @ckossuth & Jared nice to meet y’all in person! The fas pack was smaller than I anticipated but looked extremely well built. Imagine if a bandit/Mr treehouse & kifaru had a baby…..
CruzR booth, sure I’m late to the game but their tree kneepad is super nice!!! I picked one up, very compact & will serve better than my current setup.
LWCG seeing their whole lineup side by side us impressive. Not a treestand guy but if I was……. I did ask if they were considering making the new climber base in a slightly shorter profile & they are not…… I still can’t get over how tight 4-4 sticks pack together.
Trophyline- shout out to @Jefferson10940 nice to put a face with the name. That new onyx platform is pretty sweet. Love the shape , should’ve bought one at the show. I’ll find one before next season.
See above

Can you explain hand hold and integrated stacking for me?
