Sat in my Kestrel this afternoon. Just a foot or two off the ground. Getting it dialed in.

I threw this together last night, it made the haul in this morning effortless,I use the platform like a shelf to sit my pack on and bungee down

How many feet of rope are you using on your sticks? I’m looking at doing the same but just curious what amount of feet everyone is using with the lone wolf stick mod.

I started with 8 ft, but trimmed it to 6 ft after a few hunts

This is how I got it set up with the new spurs. I think it’s just over 11lbs (batteries died on scale). It’s super quiet and compact! I have weight to shave going to 8 or 9mm rappel line vs my 11mm and also if I change out the big buck pads. I suppose I could also spur down to save even more weight.

This is just a mock-up so I’m sure it will change. The only thing different is I added spurs though.

Awesome man, that looks really tight!

Here is a system for transporting my gear that I have been working on. This is the GORUCK Rucker pack. This pack is tough as nails. I’m still in the early stages of development, but after spending lots of time in the saddle last season it became evident that I needed a better way of getting my gear in and out of the woods. I like for my hands to be free aside from my bow or rifle. I’ve had the Rucker pack for a long time now and I’ve put lots of miles on it rucking and hiking. It’s tough and I believe can be very versatile. I’ll replace my reflectors with more substantial straps and buckles soon. I’m working on stealthing everything up too. When I hunt public this coming season I’ll just have to swap out the spurs for some strap on steps in a pouch attached to the molle.

Do you use a wrench or a wing nut? How tight does it have to be?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I finger tighten. Assemble before I go up tree. I get em pretty tight. The large bolt and wing-nut are easy to tighten and loosen. The cross bolt I don’t get as tight. I’m looking for the right size hinge pin to replace it with. I’m using the Lone Wolf strap to attach to the tree. It’s solid. Leveling hasn’t been an issue.

What's the large bolt and wing nut for?

5 muddy pro sticks, a xop platform, kestrel, and a game plan gear bow bat all fit inside. Strap my bow to the outside and I’m on my way.
