I believe the pictures say it all. I literally fit this platform in a tiny Y in the tree which happened to be the only useable tree in the spot I needed to hunt. There literally would have been no other option. Dead quiet system with great stability. Great job team Tethrd!

Cool demonstration the Predator’s versatility

Literally???Couldn’t get a ring of steps on there? What about a few wild edge stepps, two on that trunk, and one of the trunk behind you for some extra angles?

In all seriousness, sweet setup! I love getting in fork or crotch of a tree. In my minds eye it’s best way to trick a deer’s eye and look like a tree. What type of tree is that? Looks like some soft bark!

Had a similar setup yesterday in a 3 way split trunk. Actually stood sideways on my platform most of the morning leaning against one of the trunks. Couldn't tether to the trunk in front of me because it was angled to far. Strap on steps would have been difficult but the platform made it a breeze. For me a platform is much preferred over steps but that is just my opinion.

Lol. Yes it is a great set up for sure! I hunt spots like that all the time but I definitely can get my ring of steps on that! :)

I have never liked a platform until now but I do like the predator platform. I will be using steps less than in the past.

I used my predator for the second time last night. First trip out, it was absolutely silent. Last night it was making noise if I shifted my weight.
Anyone else encountered that or have a solution? I've not disassembled it before and made no mods. Saw people talking about string-waxing the bolts, but at that time it hadn't made any nose so I ignored the suggestions.

Definitely wax the bolt and the post hole and put something where the leveling bolt contacts the post. I used tubular webbing but anything durable that you can stick/glue to the post will work. I also waxed the leveling bolt threads and installed nylon washers to the outside of the pivot bolt and nut. Probably overkill but it doesn’t make a peep.

How solid is the predator? I have a diy xop seat platform. I'm 230 lbs and it's really pretty spongy when you get out on the sides. I don't believe it'll break but I get a little nervous when I'm 25 feet up.
