Professions???

Started in retail in high school and quickly jumped to management. Decided 80+ hour weeks and canceled vacations weren't for me.
I jumped ship to the aviation industry. I started on the ticket and gate counters to get my foot in the door and am now a flight attendant. This job is the definition of "flexible schedule". I am allowed to trade (unlimited) with any one of the other 14,000 flight attendants on staff, and often can trade with trips that are not assigned. There are no minimum or maximum work requirements. I can give away all my trips for 2 years if I can afford to pay enough people to take them, or I can work 6 days straight (legal max) every week of the year. Last year, I had 3 instances of 8+ days off without using vacation or losing pay, plus 2 more 10ish day blocks for my actual vacation.
I could never have a real job again.....

Educator also married going on 12 years to one as well. We have two children 7 and 3 that have totally wrecked our lives and home but would not take anything for them. Despite our shortcomings d failures Jesus Christ is Lord in our home. His mercy is new every morning and His love endures forever.

I am an insurance inspector in southern Iowa. Originally from west central Iowa flat little cover.....few mature bucks (believe it or not) they run them with pickups and shoot them like coyotes. This is my 2nd marriage and believe she is my true soulmate (deer tracker...dragger, fisherwoman, best friend). I have 2 daughters I raised them on my own from preteen to productive adult members of society....proud father! My passions are bowhunting and flathead catfishing. I got the bow hunting bug 30 years ago....boy it is like nothing else.
Four years ago I took a long hard look at things and realized "life isn't a dress rehearsal....and I was getting older" I left a 21 year, very well paying and secure career to pursue Mature whitetails.....not so much into score just hunting the adult large chested sway bellies! I gave up a lot to do it but I now set my own schedule, travel 14 counties in southern Iowa inspecting farms and homes......Life is Truly Good!!
 
I am currently a Bank Manager, don't know how I stumbled into this position since prior to this I was an armed guard and a Carpenter before that and my family owns a beef farm! But it pays the bills and give me LOTS of vacation time which comes in handing in the fall!

I've been married for almost 7 yrs and have 2 beautiful kids because of it :D My oldest is 6, she is starting to get her feet wet in the outdoor world, she love to be out in the woods and my youngest is turning 3 this spring and is nuttier than a squirrel turd but he loves the farm and the woods! I chase deer and turkey mostly but Ill hunt anything the state will let me, this was my first year in a saddle and other than ground hunting it was the only tree stand I used this year and love it! I am hoping to get further and further into saddle hunting in the next few years and maybe bag a good buck with my bow finally!
