Pursuit platforms

Seems easy enough to make a light and heavy duty version...Hd version beef up the structure...obviously there gonna be a weight difference. After the holidays I gonna buy 1 to compare against my tree sack. They got me beat in carry weight and bulk.
They should be able to make cross members thru the whole thing to tie it together better without adding much weight or losing function.

They are strong. Despite the flex....they've been tested at 800 lbs without bereaking.....they've been tested all last winter in minus degrees up here in Northern MN.
Yes sir I have been emailing with Brady one of the owners . He said they used the proto types Last year in the fridged weather and never had any issues. And he also stated the production version is stronger than the proto types are!
In that video the guy says that they are made of plastic. Yes partially. They are a fiberglass reinforced nylon material that is injected.
I’m a 255-260 guy and mine does not flex like that when properly attached to the tree. U can see in the video his is pulling away from the tree at the back when he stands with all his weight on the corners.
I plan to do a review with mine when I get a free minute.

I am 6ft and weigh around 235/240, with all my hunting gear on, I'm probably closer to 250 in the winter. I have been testing this platform since February, and it has far exceeded my expectations. I have hunted out of it with an EWO squirrel step on each side, and I love it! There have been zero issues with the preproduction platform, and I tested the production platform on two separate occasions on two different trees jumping up and down on both corners. It held up just as well, if not better than the prototype. This platform with a squirrel step on each side will be my go-to hunting setup this season!

Might be sweet with a step on each side. $150 now though. Bummer. Oh well

So trying something out for yourself to see if you like it is wrong??? Someone better let all those guys going to the shows and expos trying new equipment that they are doing it all wrong, especially if they thought they wouldn't like it, and after trying it for themselves, they did like it!

So you're the one in the striped cap then.

It was a spot of humor, but you're pushing pretty hard for some reason.

Try and find someone close to you to try one. If, after trying it, you don't like it or think the price is too high, you vote with your wallet. Just curious, what are you currently using as a platform?

Buddy, I've shared your "New Gear Release" platform review post on here a couple of times for folks to read who were interested in the platform. I've mentioned this design in context of "soft platforms" as a potential way to skeletonize the things.

But I'd stick my tongue to the telephone pole before I'd hunt off one.

Has nothing to do with a triangle flattening into a square, I just don't feel confident shooting from small platforms. (Although, the triangle crush isn't real comforting, but I agree a little give can improve comfort, so long as the thing doesn't implode.)
