Really like the Rick Young Outdoors harness. Have to go to the web site to get the neoprene protective cover and he has a clip for your rangefinder also. See the harness at big name stores but it's just the harness.

Never heard of them. Watched some videos. That thing looks sweet.

You wear that with the saddle?

S4 lock down works great for me. Keeps all the crap out of the eye ups. Keeps them snug when not in use. Running ZenRay 10x43 in that pic.

I wore the S4 several times this fall in saddle with no issues. I bought mine last year directly from S4 when they had a 50% off sale going, I just used that link for the picture.

I can’t stand having stuff hanging all over me and I do not want anything on my chest to interfere with my bow string at the shot (Longbow). I cut a piece of fleece long enough to go around my neck and to my waist. My binoculars hang down by my right hip while walking or they are in my pack. In the saddle they are either behind me or in my lap. Fleece is soft on the neck and very durable. Also use the strap to clean the lenses in a pinch.

I used one of his neoprene covers this year. I can not handle having a Baby Björn sized harness for my binos. It did a great job of protecting and keeping dust and debri off my viper hd’s while being just as low profile as the binoculars alone. I did not like all the extra material flopping around while you are using them but I got used to that.

I have a Sitka Bino bivy I tried early this year and did not like it for saddle hunting. It just got in my way too much. I picked up the Rick Young Ultra light and the cover to go with it and I REALLY like that setup for saddle hunting. Keeps the binos tight to my chest and doesn't interfere with the bridge at all. Price is very good too.

Same here with the cover hanging, usually just take it off when in the saddle. Will also just put all of it in my pack when climbing.

Thanks for all the input guys. I think the RIck Young Ultralight is the way to go for me. I like that I can wear it different ways too which will make it more useful for various activities. It’s budget friendly too.

I have a Rick Young a like a lot. I also have an Outdoor Vision that is awesome, full protection and easy to operate. It has a very low profile.

I know its not a harness but with since we're facing the tree when saddle hunting I just hang my binocs using a length of paracord attached to a keychain carabiner that I attach to the tether girth hitch. They hang down along the tree, are in easy reach and completely out of the way until I want them.
