899Those are rated for about 800 lbs. if I'm remembering correctly?
C’mon man, where’s your sense of adventure?! lol. . I’ll only be using the notch on my 2tc rig for the thigh connection but I’ll keep that in mind.@Exhumis That Notch Micro is small as hell but 4kN ain’t $4!+. I personally wouldn’t climb on 4kN and I’m a wee Hobbit of a man.
I just had my mitts on a Metolius Bravo at REI yesterday, it’s even smaller than the Metolius Element you posted and it’s lighter than your prusik cord almost. $12 and it’s rated to 24kN major axis with a screw lock or wiregate.View attachment 97210View attachment 97211View attachment 97212
But Hobbits historically avoid adventure!C’mon man, where’s your sense of adventure?! lol. . I’ll only be using the notch on my 2tc rig for the thigh connection but I’ll keep that in mind.
Hopefully you're using this to haul a bow up or such. Theoretically it doesn't have a SWL since it isn't PPE. But the safe working load of the Notch Micro is 180lbs!Thanks for all the suggestions, picked up a Notch micro, this thing is tiny. I thought my Metolius was small - nah it’s huge compared to these.

Terrible perspective shots but it’s the best I could do from the tree. Told y’all I’d been eyeing this, had the Mrs. pick one up while she was doing Xmas exchanges in the big city. It’s tiny alright. I’ll have to find a Bic lighter like @enkriss did, but the pot call and the fact that it completely fits inside my BD locker should indicate the teeniness of this bad boy.
