Quick and easy, one time fix for me was a couple of squirts of motorcycle chain lube.

I waxed the bolt through the post and still had pops. Waxed it all a second time and still had pops. Then I thought to lube the platform adjustment screw and I have had no more creaking. Love my Predator!

Crazy, I did everything except the adjustment screw and it was fixed.

Sounds like the verdict is just add some bow wax. The nylon bushing seems good too I would worry it may impact the integrity of the platform but admittedly I'm not even close to an engineer.
