Southern states. Camo

Kuiu Tiburon Pant is worth every penny.

I just wear the cabelas brand in the strata camo. My shirts are the thin breathable style like the performance fishing shirts. Im in south Louisiana so very familiar with the heat, we'll be in shorts in January...oh and thermocell does work and i havent noticed deer spooked by it. I have had deer in range with it going. You cant hunt down here in the swamp without a thermocell, i can promise you that. You might still get a couple but it wont be anywhere near the swarm you would get without it.

Either Badlands Algus or some Orvis pants I picked up at Costco and a wicking style of T shirt. Got a North Mountain Gear leafy jacket I wear on top plus a Mosquito net. I spray everything down with Permethrin. After Ian blew through we had a hatch of those giant Tiger striped mosquitoes and they didn’t seem to mind the Thermacell so I picked up the mosquito net. It also helps for walking in and out when the thermacell doesn’t seem to. The leafy jacket is just a mesh lining so relatively cool. I’m in NE Florida and we had some balmy days during archery season.

What’s everyone wearing we’re it’s still 80 plus temps. Tomorrow lows is 52. I’m in Florida. What warm weather gear you using
Florida Camo Hammock pattern

or

High Pine Camo from Swamp N Stomp

both are light weight breathable and well made and perfect for hunting anywhere in the south east US

Or
You really can’t go wrong with either

80 precent the time. I do go shirtless in. But thermacell do not work in my area
I’m in Florida and thermocell’s work great here. You gotta give them a good 20 minutes to warm up and you gotta be sure the wind is blocked but they keep sand gnats, mosquitoes and most biting things away except them big ol yellow flies

That’s the biggest thing is wind.
I hang my back pack on a wide bend s biner, and then hang my thermocell from my pack so that the pack and the tree act like a wind blocker. If the wind gets too strong mosquitoes go away anyway but anything 20 mph or less the back pack tree seems to help keep the thermocell within distance and most of the mosquitoes away.
