Spypoint link micro cell cams

Can’t believe no one else is having this problem. I really want to get a few more of these. But no way if the app won’t connect. Another bad thing with app not working is you control date time etc from the app. No way to set that stuff on the camera.View attachment 14000
i was having that problem. i just clicked forgot password and it sent me an email with a link to reset my password and got back in no prob. was a PITA trying to figure out what the problem was.

Thanks so much, even though my old PW was correct for some reason it wouldn't let me in. resetting it worked perfectly. I'll have to find another paper weight now that I can set this one out in the woods.

Haha no problem. I was also amazed no one seemed to be having that problem when I googled it. it was just a lucky guess that i might have entered it wrong when i changed it from the factory sent PW. worked so i'm happy. been getting pics of my chickens coming and going from their coop to test positioning.

I don't think you entered it wrong, at least I didn't. When I would deliberately put in a wrong password it would say incorrect PW, if I put correct one in, it would get stuck on the loading page. Either way, resetting it works. Some kind of glitch on their part. Surprised no one else had the problem either.

Does anyone know if there is the $99.99 or $129.99 deals going on right now. I got two if them earlier in the summer when all the deals were going on and want to add a couple more. Its tough convincing myself to pay full price when they were so much less expensive a couple months ago.

You can get new ones from verified sellers on Ebay. That's how I got my last two for around 110 each shippped.

Side note- you can’t share plans on the cameras. I thought you could. I run 3 currently. You need 3 transmission plans.

I was told that also. That’s why I purchased 4. When my free trial ended I tried signing up for the scouting package with says it’s good for up to 5 cameras. That’s not a transmission plan though. You must have a transmission plan for each camera. I called Spypoint. I canceled the scouting package that basically just holds pics on your SD card and gives you the animal filters.

I was pretty disappointed because I purchased these cameras under the assumption of being cheap along with a cheap plan.

I will also tell you that you need good coverage. The cameras antennas aren’t as good as your cell phone. Where my cameras are they mainly have 2 bars. Occasionally they drop to 1 bar. When they drop to bar they do not transmit.

My cell phone has 3-4 bars in the area of my cameras. They are decent for the money but the monthly plans add up. I wouldn’t have bought 4 had I known this before.

I called twice. Both times I was on hold awhile. I think I got through quicker around 7pm EST.

If you use someone’s email as a referral you both get a free month of service or $50 off your next camera. The person you refer has to already have a camera set up with Spypoint. Feel free to use my email if you want

I use extended antennas on mine when they are far from a cell tower with a borderline signal. That seems to work well.

If you join the Spypoint Insiders Club (annual fee) it bumps the transmission plan on all your cameras to 250/month per camera. And you get discounts on paid plans and accessories. Might be worth looking into.

Of my 3 micro Spypoints, I have a paid plan on only one of them because of this. And that plan is discounted and monthly, so when the hunt is over, I cancel the plan and go back to 250 freebies/month. Keeps the costs down that way. When it's time to scout more seriously a few months before season starts, I'll resub the plan.
