Still searching for knee comfort

I’m using it right now, it’s more comfortable than the $5 cushion from Walmart but my knees still hurt from extended sitting. I’m contemplating going to a jx3 or back to the summit climber cause boy was that thing comfy

Someone posted using one of those round cushions that get warm sitting on them. Gonna try it this yr. Your knees make a hole in the middle and the dam around them keep you from sliding out to the edge. A little heavier but maybe worth the try.
 
How about a gun case designed to wrap around the tree as a knee pad

Help me fix the knee to tree pain.

This will be my 4th year saddle hunting. Im a sitter and my only complaint is knees into the tree. I have the Tethered look alike knee pads. Ive also tried the Latitude pads. Still not getting the comfort Im looking for. Im thinking about a trying a strap around the tree pad. What are you guys...

I have tried several quality knee pads. They all make my knees and back of knees sweat. Plus they have not completely removed the pain, only helped.

The only way to completely remove knee pain is to remove your knees from the tree. Whether that be leaning/standing in a saddle or switch the the JX3. My Novix Helo is the only thing I found that removed knee pain.

I have the JX3 so I am all set. I have other soft saddles that if I can get the knee issues address, it will give me more options depending on circumstances.
 
Ooal rut roost does it for me if it's a longer sit. Other then that I lean/stand the whole time.
 
I’ve got the tethrd ones and I did an 8 hour hunt last weekend, spent more than half the time seated with my knees against the tree. Never felt a thing on my knees.

I too haven't found a satisfactory solution when kneeing into a tree.

But I tended to stand much of the time when treestand hunting, so I'm kind of conditioned to manage long hunts without sitting into my saddle at all.

I do find flipping the pad on a .5 for a knee rest a nice enough break when needed, which for me is mostly to ball up when it's really really cold.

Don't know if you use the stock seat on the Helo, but the LW seats were super uncomfortable to me. The mesh ones are a huge improvement imo.

So this is the first time I've seen this design. If there were two contoured wedges that slid on the strap one behind each side of the pad, it could make it basically flat on trees of different diameters.

A flat pad is much better than a rounded one imo.

They sell flat pads 1" and 2" thick as well, but probably not with the firmness needed. I am gonna try the suggested thermaseat.
