Tethrd “one stick” step for 1” tubing?

I'm confused. Any stick with a step attached to the top is going to have added bulk. I'm not sure why you would want that added step on more than one stick. There are several good options posted here on how it packs cleanly, simply and it works. I pack my single stick just like in the photos above. It sounds to me like you are advocating the development of a product that has more step material on ALL sticks, like the Tethrd One Stick, which you have in the photo. Im sure it will be available someday.

Look how clean @swampsnyper s scout stick packs. Mine packs well too and I don’t have the rotating standoffs. You’re over thinking this.

What sticks are you using? Those look really nice!

Mine and @swampsnypers are both cut down lonewolf sticks. Mine are 16” and I believe his shown are 19”. The ones shown have been modified using an insert instead of an nut to allow the standoffs to rotate vertical for stacking. There is a member here that has a video of How to do the modifications.

Oh cool. I'm really new to saddle hunting, so still learning about the best options when it comes to sticks. It appears there are two separate companies called Lone Wolf though?

Lonewolf sticks are still available used; however, the company is now called novix and they are essentially the same sticks. Novix does offer mini sticks stock or the full sized ones. Lone wolf custom gear is a company start from the original owner of Lonewolf. I don’t know much more about their stuff but they do offer some other options for stackable and packable sticks.

It doesn’t dig into your back and you don’t have have one so you’re only speculating. If you know what you want just go make it. You’re clearly not looking for any substantiated solutions. Good luck with your venture.
God you take things personal...

Can you weld aluminum? do you have a EWO stick? I would just weld two strips of aluminum in the spots where the arrows are and youd be good to go.
Unfortunately I do not have the ability to weld aluminum... but I like where you are going with that thought process! :)

Thanks, this picture shows exactly what I mean by the scout digging into your back! One of them would be tolerable but I’m looking for 3 sticks total!

Cut a pool noodle in half and just cover the Scout's edge?

Explain please. Looks great.

X2 ... I had to zoom in to see lone wolf custom gear on them...are these a prototype?

Link to main component. This was previously posted somewhere within the forum. I can't find the original post. Good luck.

The original Lone Wolf is still an active company. Novix is just an offshoot from them.

Well, weird how things happen. I've been contemplating going with a solo scout on top of my heliums and I see this thread.
This is my first year saddle hunting and I find that I am a leaner. I never sit like I thought i would. I love my Trophyline Mission but I really don't need it like I thought I would. I am going to be purchasing a Scout after this season.

Let’s get together for a hunt and you can try my scout and maybe I could try out that mission!
