I get my tethrd mantis tomorrow on my birthday kinda cool
Get an original kestrel u won't regret it....Sorry to jack the thread but I wonder if the sitting issue isn't a sizing problem. Looks like on Tethrd website they recommend going with the larger size if you are a sitter. I am in the boat trying to decide on which saddle as a newb. I like the lightweight design of the mantis but the Aero Hunter Kestrel Flex looks like it will be the most comfortable design..?
You don't need to do this, you just need to dial it in. Tether height and length are where it's at.After hunting with the Mantis a full season and it being my first year saddle hunting I've learned a couple things. First the Tethrd Mantis is an awesome saddle. If your a leaner, no problems. If your a sitter like me well I tend to slide out the bottom and continually have to pull the saddle back down. I'm going to remedy this by incorporating a sit-drag to make it more comfortable. Just throwing this out there but if tethrd designs another saddle it would be great if they fix this problem. But it still is a great product.
Does anyone know if tethrd mantis is washable
Thank you sirYes, but you will want to throw it in a mesh sack of some kind to keep the webbing and buckles together in the machine. If I were to wash mine I’d probably do it by hand and let air dry outside. Either way should work!
