Tethrd Predator CFX

Link is up. Specs say 72.24oz for the xl which is 4.64 lbs.
There they go telling us it’s the lightest and most slickest when we know it’s not. That’s just par for the course now. I feel like Tethrd is Anakin Skywalker and we’re all shouting from the Mustafar high ground at them like Obi-Wan, “you were the chosen one! You were supposed to destroy the Sith, not join them! Bring balance to the Force, not leave it in darkness!”
We should have seen the signs when they codenamed the One stick “TIE fighter” and this platform “Vader”.

you just cracked their code. wow. mind blown

It'll still sell out quickly to the saddlebros that want to post on their social media with it.
oh, for sure. How do you think the Galactic Empire “recruited” so many star systems to their fold?
Creative marketing and social anxiety are powerful tools.
And a lightsaber…but just wait, the Tethrd “Drksbr” broadhead will be out soon enough, with “laser-like field point accuracy” and “bombproof cut-through-anything sharpness”.
Then the “ForceChk” tether system, that’ll really put the strangle on your trunk so you can “put deer down like the dark lord of the trees”.

I’m interested in the regular size. I haven’t seen any specs out on it yet. But I’m definitely not a gen1 buyer…been there done that.

These things are getting up there in weight closer and closer to the current lightweight tree stand market. What am I missing?
:)

Interesting concept but not the weight savings I would have expected.
I think the one big advantage (and I'm not buying one but just in general) is you don't have to sit in a tree stand.

What attachment method does it come with and is that considered in the weight? Tethrd is dodging my question on FB and there are zero pics on the website of the platform with attachment method?

The pic on their Instagram that has the weight listed shows a cam buckle.

So let me get this straight ...

Tethrd Predator CFX XL with cam buckle strap
12 x 15.5 x 3 in
74.24 oz or 4.64 lb

Tethrd Predator XL with cam buckle strap
13 × 16.25 × 3.25 in
87.65 oz or 5.48 lb

Hunt Arsenal RZR Magnum
11.25 x 15.75 in
51 oz or 3.19 lb

Massive flop by Tethrd and this "The Predator CFX is the lightest, fully featured, mobile saddle platform that raises the bar for what's possible in the mobile hunting gear." is just straight up false.
