Wait, $150-200 is midrange? Damn, I’ve got to reevaluate my expenses then. I’m watching guys use $2000 Swaros and I thought my $500 viper HDs were mid range. $200 to me is “bang around in the boat” range.

I agree with you. I’m using a cheap $100 pair of redfields but would love to have some Swaros or Leicas. But for NutterBuster’s purpose sounds like the cheaper vortex is the way to go. I think the vortex stuff is good for what they are. I would never go on a sheep hunt with a vortex rifle scope but I’ll probably never go on a sheep hunt anyway

The higher end Vortex stuff I would trust on a sheep hunt. I’ve banged around the Razor Gen 3 1-10 and I’d trust that for sure. Not saying that a 1-10 is suitable for a sheep hunt but the quality of it is and that’s the same quality that the other Razors have that are hunting centric.
