Pop it out like a pimple and throw them in the onions!
Mine shoots the eley ss hp at about .5-.6inch but it shoots the rws ss hp .3-.4 inch. I shoot both in the woods, currently hunting with the rws since I have more of it. I'd like to get my hands on some more of both tho.You may still be able to find lilja barrels for the 452 that's what I have on my 455. With eley subsonic hollowpoints it shoots .3 inch groups all day long. That's at 50 yards
The Winchester 45 grn subsonic hp can be super accurate if you sort your ammo by weightMine shoots the eley ss hp at about .5-.6inch but it shoots the rws ss hp .3-.4 inch. My 452 also LOVES the American eagle 40 grain SV, it'll shoot 9 of 10 in a tiny ragged hole, but theres always one flyer, I'm assuming weight difference, I never weighed them before hand, I'll have to check into that. The Winchester 45 grn subsonic hp can be super accurate if you sort your ammo by weight
Weight doesn't fix everything but almost all weight anomalies will be fliersMy 452 also LOVES the American eagle 40 grain SV, it'll shoot 9 of 10 in a tiny ragged hole, but theres always one flyer, I'm assuming weight difference, I never weighed them before hand, I'll have to check into that.
It's gross! You could cut it out or cut it out of your diet by not hunting or discarding the carcass.I’ve never hunted squirrel, so forgive me if this is a dumb question, but if cooked, will that stuff bother ya? Or is it just kinda gross and that’s why ya wait until it’s colder?

I know a "guy", who had one pulled from his head after a trip to central America.Yeah that’s wild! I’ve never seen one running around NY like that.
I just checked and PA opens this Saturday. Seems earlier than before. Do you hunt them from the saddle?I love me some squirrels! I fry mine in oil in cast iron pan. Tender and almost fall off the bone. I rarely make a stew anymore. It opens soon here and I can’t wait!
So they started the earlier season last year. I have not but I do plan on it this year. I typically walk and tree them.I just checked and PA opens this Saturday. Seems earlier than before. Do you hunt them from the saddle?
