I don’t think my team has ever won the hunting contest either. Corn hole on the other hand, that’s a totally different story.:cool:
Didn't you win last year or the year before?

We hunt a few spots. We have a small lease near Tippecanoe, plus Egypt valley and the AEP lands south of Cambridge. We use to hunt up by Coshocton but moved south and haven’t been back.

Unfortunately today was the last day of my season. Frustrating season this year. Work for in the way a lot. The deer that cooperated were deer I wasn’t willing to take and the deer to take never cooperated. I did have a border line 8 come in late in the rut that was going to take due to my time availability winding down but when I reached for my bow and looked back he had dissapeared somehow on a pretty open hillside. I went statue for as long as I could while watching that hill and finally decided he must have busted me and moved out. Just after I hung my bow back up he reappeared under my stand at 15yrds and on the other side of me. I was forced to try stopping him before I had drawn, hoping he’d stop and not look, because of the direction and speed he was heading. Of course his head swung right at me and then I watched him walk away in a bit of a hurry. The does we’re a whole other story this year. I only ever had one doe within shooting range this year but it was the middle of the rut so I let her pass. I only saw two other doe all season which is very strange in my area. Gun season was a total bust for me this year as well. Never saw a single deer for the 9 day.

Hope there’s still time for some of you to fill tags and sorry I wasn’t able to contribute to the numbers.

Guys I must apologize my season was cut short due to totaling my Jeep. I had a few small injuries that kept me out for a while and a month without my own vehicle. Long story short I only hunted four times and shot one buck I couldn’t find due to a bad hit. Needless to say Tag soup.

Glad you are ok. There are more important things than hunting.
