Then you have no choice, just use the existing wiring and now your left turn signal also switches on the ozone generator

Made some changes to the gear strap so that rods and bows can be secured up, keeping them out of harm's way.

Picked up a Lifetime Cooler for the back instead of a fridge.Price is better and I wont be out for more than 4 or 5 days. Fits perfectly into the rack

Also, I did go with the onboard ozone system. Turns out the rear air system is very easy to access behind the glove box. Mounted in an easy to access spot and reaches the power inverter now mounted under the drivers seat.
And...it matches! East to detach for dual use on my scent box and closet.

Well, I ran it for 15 minutes and can smell it throughout the van. Real test will be in the woods I guess! I also ran the front ac with my nose planted firmly upon the vent. Neighbors looked at me funny. No ozone though. Then ran the back without the ozone machine on. Picked up residual smell for bout 2 minutes then nothing.
Dont know how to test how effective it is, or if the added volume of air depleats the effectiveness of the ozone.
Agreed! Awesome idea! Im having a 2" reciever put on then im going to fabricate a raised swing away mount for a basket.
Thanks brother! The no ozone in the front is the desired affect though. I only want it in the back of the van where the gear is. Not that it matters though, a it gets everywhere anyway. I might try and put a curtian between the front and rear to try and keep it out of the cab area.
I made a Ozone scent bin with the same unit and it works awesome. It does leave a smell on clothes but its quickly gone after a minute or two when you get the clothes on. I had my best year and more sightings than the few years before this one so I say it works great
yes sir. Ive been using this one for 2 years now. Great little unit! I use it in my bin, my closet and now the van.
Next, magnetic window screens to fit all of the windows that roll down, one for the back hatch (might make that one to utilize the hatch as a roof and have a small screened in room), and some window panels to blackout the van when parked. Im thinking the panels will be dual sided...one white ( to reflect heat during the summer) and one side black (to hopefully absorb some of the heat during the winter). Season will dictate which side gets used.

Cheap sun blockers for the windshield could be modified to fit all the windows for black out panels, otherwise room darkening curtains might be a viable option. Synthetic screen material should work well enough for screens,magnetic tape should work well for attaching it. For the back I would consider making a "wall tent" that will mount to the sides of the rear hatch for late season and inclement weather, could make cooking and waiting out rainy days much more enjoyable, and adding scree panels to it should be a pretty straight forward process.

I do like the idea of an inclosed wall tent. Think im gonna make that happen this summer! I was looking at the ABS Awning with wall tent, but it mounts to the outside and looks very "hunty". The homemade wall tent could be stored inside. Also like the idea of the windshield panels. The springy ones that pop out are nice, but harder than I thought to modify. I might give that another go.
Thats a great budget alternative! Problem is, im a little worried about them getting wet. One light rain with a window down and it might be toast. Im gonna play with the idea though and test it out.
