I been seeing threads about hunters leaving stands and etc in the woods and whether if it's legal or not. I thought I would start one to just post pics or talk about things we have found in the woods, whether if its illegal or not. It could be a deer, critter, or anything that made you snap a photo of it. Today was a first for me though, and the reason I wanted to start this thread(last pics).....
Bhad a trail cam hung on a piece of private several years ago....landowners nephew come in woods with his girlfriend and a blanket laid blanket out and screwed her right in front the camera and neither ever even seen the camera

Oh there is another story on him as to why she call him ****head. Good ol boy but plumb goofy and don't pay attention way to much lol... And here I thought "ground and pound" was an MMA term.
I wish I had all the picture I have this topic I could go on forever about. I’ve also found a old set of big log grabs that had one tong broke completely off some how in the same area I found the big cypress tree. Also have a picture somewhere of an old tree stand made out of a 50 gallon metal drum.
I’m pretty sure that’s exactly how this one was done. And for the back they just cut the barrel about half way done and made flaps from it to partially go around the tree to have a way to attach the barrel more secure.I've found several things, will have to go through my pics later
I was in a deer lease several years ago that had 2 or 3 ol stands made out of 55 gallon drums. One of the old timers in that lease said they had killed a lot of deer out of them over the years, but they were unsafe to use now, which I believe! They appeared to have been nailed directly to the tree with a ladder run up to them and you just stood in the barrel til a deer came by. I had some pics at one point, no clue if I still got any.
Still don’t know what this is/was. It looks like some kind of bone/skull with what appears to be a speaker and wires coming out of it. Did not find anything else around it. Probably about 8’ up in a tree.
Who wants to guess what this was meant for?
Bone Thugs 'N Harmony? Isn't it just a melted speaker?Still don’t know what this is/was. It looks like some kind of bone/skull with what appears to be a speaker and wires coming out of it. Did not find anything else around it. Probably about 8’ up in a tree.

I have an oak and a sweet gum growing like that in my yard. Took me a year to realize they were different trees.I took these pics last year of this oak and pine. Seems like they are friends or lovers lol.....
