Holy sheep sh!t Batman!! That’s bad azz!!
What issues are you thinking of? We have not weighed her, but once we revise the waist buckle I'm going to less than 1.5 lbs.Love the leg loop configuration. No issues with those 2 straps across the backside?
Have you weighed her?
Looks awesome!

Any uncomfortable pressure when you have the leg loops tight? When one sticking or rappeling... that kind of thing.

From my experience in it you don't feel any pressure points from them. I have not repelled or one sticked with it, but @Bwhana has done both with it. He hasn't told me about any discomfort from them. I do have plans to configure them slightly different on the next one.
Yes sir I was hoping it would be more of a hit than it was... without the mesh it may be.Looks like you guys really put some work in on this one.
Love the idea of using 2 inch elastic material on the "H" of each chassis...unless my eyes deceive me.
We figured you would! Shoot me a PM if you have any questions on dimensions!I think the mesh is probably more valuable as an organizer on this one. Without it, the webbing might get confusing (at least for a knucklehead like me!). I hope you guys dont mind if I take a stab at this one!

No patents pending here. I've seen your work and have no doubt you will represent the Wrap2R well!Uh-oh! Im known as that guy!
Im sure I will. Thanks!
No comfort issues when rapelling or climbing. Just be sure to start with more leg loop length than you think you need when you build it and tweak from there.Any uncomfortable pressure when you have the leg loops tight? When one sticking or rappeling... that kind of thing.
@Bwhana and @setxhunter - I really like this design! Super interesting. Thanks for sharing!
I’ve been plying with some ideas and formulating some others for my next saddle build and have been thinking a lot about whether to use fabric at all or not. The all strap models like the Anderson, wraptor and tree hopper all are appealing but wondered if mesh would make it better or hinder it. Do you feel like the mesh makes it more comfortable or more organized or both? Essentially, what does the mesh bring to the party?
Also, what about using fleece instead of mesh? Based on the materials I have, the fleece is more stretchy and in the case of the wrapt2r the straps are the life support chassis.... I could envision the fleece being super comfy. Any thoughts?
It will still go down to the sections touching up to fully spread out with no problem. The mesh gets out of the way and doesn't affect the movement. It helps with comfort by taking some of the pressure off the webbing.Did you guys find any difference in adjust-ability with the new configuration (the slings not standing alone, now over lapping).
