It finally quit raining here long enough to put together a short video of how I use my turkey vest for carrying my gear in for a saddle hunt. I've mentioned this a few time here on the forum but I thought I'd put toegther a quick video of how and why it works for me.
The biggest plus is that keeps my gear organized and accessible. If you notice I can access everything in the pack without needing to remove the pack if I don't want to. Everything metal is stowed so there's little chance of any rattles off of brush and it having weight in the front and back helps level out the load I'm carrying. Another small plus is that it provides built in pockets to keep my hands warm on those cold morning walks. In the tree it hangs right in front of me and is out of the way for any shot opportunities while still readily accessible.
