Hey all. I've been lurking on the forum for a while and decided to join the community. Great information everyone. Love all the YouTube videos too (mostly diy sportsman and g2 outdoors....thanks guys!). So I just ordered the kestrel yesterday (saddle only). I ordered a remnant section of sterling 1/2 in. rope for lineman belt and tether and 6 ft of 9mm for Blake's hitches and prusiks. I got a bunch of good carabiners I've acquired over the years. I was torn on getting the size 1 or 2. Seems pretty divided that they can both work for a lot of guys. I ordered the size 1. I'm 6 ft. 205 lbs wear a 32x34 pant. I have a small waist and butt so I think (hope!) the 1 will work. I have a lone wolf alpha hand climber that I plan to use the seat as the platform. I'll use screw in steps for climbing (on my property). But I think I'll end up getting the muddy pro sticks too because I plan to do some public land hunting in Ohio this season. I'm super excited to get all my stuff and start shooting out of it!

Welcome, make sure you chime in after you get setup & start hanging. Btw stay at ground level getting adjusted. A lot easier to figure out there.....

Thanks everyone and fellow upstaters. I'm down in the southwest corner of the state close to the PA border.
