Seriously. Before I kills myself or quit hunting help.

Simple adjustable safe. Probably rope vs nylon.

Dude...just buy some climbing rope and prusik cord, or a ropeman like lots of others do here.

I've never used webbing for a tether. What happened?

I'll sell you some rope, send $1000 USPS mo.
Seriously though, rope tether and bridge setup. you can even use a prusic but it's not easily adjustable like the ropman lots of guys use on here.

I have a rope man. Point me to a video where I can learn to set it up safely??? I don't really know where to learn this stuff. Tried some arborist sites but not sure the same stuff works.

Sorry for the clutter of this post, Red. You can lock it and I will start a serious one where it belongs.

I use about a ten foot piece of black colored 7/16 static climbing line for a 3 point lineman belt. Sometimes (when I hunt from bow hunter harness instead of aero hunter) I use the lineman belt as my bridge and my tree strap.
They're easy enough to make:
You'll need the rope, some prussic cord (I use 6-7 mms accessory cord) , and however many carabiners as you want connection points (3 for the three point lineman belt/bridge/tree strap)
Tie a figure eight or figure eight follow through on each end of the rope. (Attach carabiners to each end or to one end and put a stopper knot on the ends)
Tie a prussic on the rope and put a carabiner on it (in the middle, and another on the end of the rope if you didn't put carabiner on that end)
Hook up one side and the middle as lineman belt. Use the other end and the middle as second lineman belt if you need to go above or below a branch.
Make it as long or short as you need. Make it with as strong a rope as you like. Use it as lineman, bridge , tree strap, whatever you want.
Easy

Dude how did you get the beans above the frank? Sorry thats a line from the movie "something about marry" and it popped in my head when I saw that mess in the first picture.

Buy yourself 12ft of this and go to animated knots and tie the figure 8 on both ends. Use your ropeman1 and a carabiner to go around the tree(fish rope and carabiner/ropeman1 back through the figure 8 loop) and hook to your bridge. You should only have 2 connection points on your web, those are where your bridge connect. The additional strap I think you have shown on the left is a linemans belt connection, but Im not familiar with the web.

What in the world is all of that? LOL

This is the most simple tether there is. It's 100% ready to go right out of the package. http://www.amazon.com/Hunter-Safety-System-Rope-Style-Strap/dp/B015YVWEA8

Here's a pic of it in action.

Anybody know what kind of rope this is? It is sold as a tether between the tree and a safety harness. I see in the notes it has a 1000lb safety rating, but not sure what its "working load" is rated for. The climbing rope has a working load rating of 495lbs, and Im certain its larger diameter than typical rope tethers used for tree stands. Those are designed for a short distance drop, might not even be static load rope.

*edit. I just looked up the specs on the bluewater rope many of us are using for our tether. All I will say is use your best judgement.
Tensile Strength: 7,679 lbf. / 34.2 kN

I can't even figure out what is going on in that picture!

So you have a ropeman 1, and I'm assuming a carabiner? If you can go to an REI, go and get about 10 foot of 11mm static climbing rope. You can probably have them tie a figure 8 on a bight in one of the ends, but if not:

If you don't have an REI, you can go to treestuff.com and order some yale bandit, http://www.treestuff.com/store/catalog. ... &item=1901, free shipping code is FREESHIP i believe.
This video should help with use on the ropeman.
