I shot a 7 point buck right in the skull at the base of his antlers. Dropped him right there and then I fell out of my tree stand. I had a serious case of buck fever and got very lucky that I got the deer and I didn't get hurt. I certainly wasn't aiming at his head.

3 pointer eating pin oak acorns. 10 minutes before I shot him a had a doe wander aimlessly ( literally) through the area that I was hunting. She had a plastic jack-o-lantern stuckon her head and was very confused as she stumbled past. No lie. The strangest thing I've encountered while deer hunting.
I used a High Country 4-runner back in the fall of 2006 to shoot my first bow deer, a 2.5 8 point buck. Not sure the year on the bow. I think it was an 03 or 04.
